NT Build has refreshed and updated its publications/forms to improve usability and access to information.

These updates ensure information provided supports the construction industry.

Christmas Shutdown

The NT Build office will be closed from Thursday 25 December 2025 to Thursday 1 January 2026. Business as usual from Friday 2 January 2026. Please submit your claims by 28 November 2025 to ensure all claims, inclusive of interstate service are paid prior to Christmas

All new and existing employers who are registered with NT Build (portable long service leave scheme for construction workers), it is important that when a new employee starts with your company/business, that you provide the employee with a NT Build worker registration form for the employee to complete.

The NT Build board have determined the benefit rate from 1 July 2024 to be $1,518.00 gross per week.

If you are or have been registered with NT Build (portable long service leave scheme for construction workers), it is important that you:

  • regularly update your contact details if they have changed (so NT Build can contact you); and
  • check to see if you are entitled to make a long service leave benefit claim by contacting NT Build.
